We also recommend that you do two things while doing your "Homework" and picking your contractor.
A. Check out any contractors for their proper licensing prior to making your decision to hire them.
B. You can also ask your contractor for a certificate of insurance for proof of their workers compensation and liability insurance.
You need to make sure that you are protected if your contractor should cause damages to your property. We have included the link to the state of Massachusetts website for you to check out and any licensed or registered contractors in Massachusetts.
When you get to this website,
1. click "Individuals",
2. under select one tab, check all types,
3. type in the contractors last name, hopefully you have that information.
